Habakkuk

In our gloomy and chaotic world, Habakkuk brings hope!

In our next Sunday teaching series, over the next six weeks, we’re going to be in the company of this Minor Prophet in our 0830 and 1030 congregations. It’s a hidden gem from the Old Testament that, given the moment of national and global turmoil it was written during, has many parallels to 2022.

The book of Habakkuk describes his struggle with God. It captures his wrestling and embracing. The push and pull of everyday faith. We’ll root our thinking in God’s word with lots of life application and here’s the link resource for personal and life group use.

Habakkuk gives us a clear understanding of the character and loving purposes of God, as we are invited into trust: ' to live by His faithfulness!’ We live by trusting God, not just in a moment of faith but across a life of faith. Habakkuk will be a gift to us in this… The series pdf link is here: with print copies available from St Peter’s or St Paul’s, the church office or from the Vicarage.
