Thy Kingdom Come

St Peter’s and St Paul’s are delighted to be part of the international “Thy Kingdom Come” prayer event again this year. The prayer team have explored Thy Kingdom Come as a Prayer Space Experience.

During this time, it is hoped that everyone who takes part will:

·    Deepen their relationship with Jesus

·    Pray for five friends or family to come to faith in Jesus

·    Pray for the empowerment of the Spirit that we would be effective in our witness

This is a key time not only for the church in general but specifically for St Peter’s and St Paul’s as we reimagine and reset our spiritual life as a church and reach out into our community, sharing God’s love in action.

As part of this initiative, St Peter’s Hextable will be hosting a creative prayer space.  This will all be in the foyer of the church and will be split into two parts:

1.     A personal reflective space - an opportunity to enter the intimate presence of God and take time to journey with Him to:

·       Rest & Receive – a time to be still and enter God’s presence, to rest and receive

·       Repent – a time to confess our sins, repent and receive God’s forgiveness

·       Restore – a time to seek healing for yourself - mind, body and spirit

·       Respond – a time to listen and respond to what God is calling you to do

·       Recommit – an opportunity to recommit your life to Jesus afresh

2.    Praying for others -  an opportunity to follow the Holy Spirit’s lead and creatively engage in prayer for the following:

·       Come to Jesus – praying for 5 people or families to come to know Jesus

·       Comfort & healing – praying for people you know in need of healing or comfort and upholding.

·       Community – praying for the needs of our community, including Next Door Hextable, and the world.

·       Church – praying for God to reignite the passion in His Church.

We are so excited to be able to bless our community in this way. The space is open, so you don’t need to book in and you can spend as long or as short a time as you like.  Why not give it a try? You will be so welcome.

This unique space will be open on the following days and times:
